Ronit Meranda is a London-based filmmaker and video artist.

Alongside her individual practice, Ronit works and collaborates with a wide range of people in the creative industries.

She uses film not just as documentary but as a tool to engage communities, such as working with young people or recording oral histories.

She makes videos for music and dance; visuals for sound artists, performance groups and plays.

Her background in fine art informs her work, lending an approach which places aesthetics at the centre of her practice.

She has recently come back from Sierra Leone where she edited a half hour documentary about street children aimed at a local audience, and is currently working on and looking for new projects.
